Gets points for substance, but not for style. it feels like three short stories stitched together frankenstein style- probably because it is.

Very prophetic in terms of the media trying to appeal to a mass audience without offending anyone - the result is mediocrity and a dull life! That was the only concept I liked - the rest was a bit contrived.

A classic, up there with "1984" and "The Handmaid's Tale" for frightening relevance and perception. Possibly loses out to both those books by being a little more contrived and maybe not quite as well written but still very readable today, 50 years after it first came out.
