Brilliant. Funny. Hugely readable. John Nike. Loved it!

Oddly bland for a socials satire but enjoyable nonetheless.

would have gotten 5 if the plot had a little further to go. Very well written, but not as interesting as it could have been. a rollercoaster ride through a near future capitalist world.

Very well written - I like Max Barry's style very much, it's very easy to take in and flows well. Some of the ideas here are inspired, and I liked the vision of the future (although I probably wouldn't want to live there). Jennifer, Buy and Hack make an interesting enough trio of protagonists, seeing the world from different angles, and there are lots of memorable characters besides them. A very good read; maybe not as thought-provoking as it could be. And for those who say it's not wise to judge a book by its cover, pah! - what a great cover design!

Interesting premise, although I'm not sure it lived up to the hype.. still an interesting look at the way capitialist culture might go if left unchecked.

Enjoyable, refreshing and exciting but nowhere near as bitingly satirical as I was expecting. The characters were well developed and the plot, though contrived, was well constructed.
