An extremely high-concept satire. In fact, to tell the truth, concepts don't come a lot higher than this. But it's not just that - it's also a wonderful and engaging shaggy dog story to boot. You'd be hard pressed to read something as "different" as this. Morrow is a top class satirist and a wonderfully witty writer, and you might think those qualities would alienate a reader. In Morrow's case, I don't see how.
