Zone One (Colson Whitehead)

Very readable and I enjoyed all the references to 80s films,comics, etc and although I don't have a familiarity with American cereal boxes, this didn't detract.

There are some interesting ideas in this book. The writing style is disappointing - no tension is built up during the dramatic sections. Colson takes a long, boring time to say anything. Will not be reading anything else by this author.
